A RELIQUARY is a container for sacred artifacts. A sacred relic can be many things - a cloth that once belonged to a saint - or a magic bone. A relic can be the pebble that becomes a touchstone, found on a long ago beach, emanating still the memory and essence of that day. A relic can be a feather left behind by a blue jay, or by the flight of a Phoenix. Twigs that remind you of a face you saw once, among the leaves, whispering your name. The sweet residue of an incomparable Summer Solstice. Or a fall leaf that curls and dissipates on a windowsill, remembering impermanence.
