During these days of shared creativity and discovery, we'll have a chance to "re-myth" the stories of our lives by exploring the Goddess within - we'll make masks, and ignite our mythic imaginations with the stories they tell as we move into the vibrancy of Spring. In this immersion workshop we will: Create a personal mask Gain an overview of mask techniques and traditions of temple mask use Learn approaches to ritual and performance Experience the transformative power of working with multicultural archetypes of the Goddess Make friends and learn ways to bring ritual theatre home to your own community. Bring a sketchbook along with art supplies, found objects, photos, and costume materials.
