It is believed among the maskmakers of Indonesia that when a new God or Goddess wishes to enter this world he or she will manifest through dreams until, at last, a sacred mask is created.

My own Storyteller Masks arise from the waking dream of the creative process - a pantheon of "personas" I have discovered within myself. They have their own unique stories to tell. For example, I met The Bone Goddess as I was hiking in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona - she just would not leave my imagination until she had made her prescence known! Many of these masks I make for friends who have their own stories to tell. These are just a few of the Company.
